What You Should Know!

You need to be represented professionally in the procedure!
There are so many reasons why it is far better to be represented professionally through Migration Links and it's very hard to list all the reasons and we will make an attempt to mention some of the main ones.

  • Sometimes the migration procedures might seem simple but they are very intricate and misleading.

  • There are daily changes in the migration laws and different internal policies of the assessing and government bodies, so that only professionals in the field can keep up to date with that and be sure that all the right factors have been taken into account.

  • We continuously get applications from individuals who wasted a lot of time and money on their efforts to apply by themselves and have used the wrong procedure or made other mistakes and they try to correct the damage that has already been done, we can still help at that stage but it’s much harder than to get it right the first time.

  • It’s important to get it right the first time as the process is lengthy and our experience has shown that those who have chosen to do it by themselves, apart from the fact that many of them fail, it is also nerve wracking for them as they are "alone in the process", don’t have any sources to get advise from, and the tension and pressure accumulates as they continue further down the track.

      The length of the process?
If you start immediately then it can take anything between 7 months to 10 months (on the skilled migration category ) and even more than that. It all depends on the procedure / category of visa / government policy at the time of lodging the application / how fast you supply all the documents and also sometimes on your skills (in particular cases processing times can be made shorter).

Professions and skills that currently have good chances?

      • High Tech Professionals, programmers and others, preferably with a degree in computer science or a major in computer science. If you don’t have a degree in computer science then you need at least 6 years of good full time experience in the field.

Please don't hesitate to check your chances even if you are not on the list, as there are many other professions, as we have just listed the main ones and the list changes from time to time. Your personal data will be examined individually and there might be other factors that will enable you to migrate. So if you are married or have a partner, it's important to present her or him as your chances are examined as a couple.

      Basic Requirements
Migrants to Australia are not selected because of their race, gender or culture. Instead, qualification to migrate depends on such things as your skills, health, age, finances and ability to speak English and whether you have family or business contacts here. Age for skilled migration, you have to be under 45 (if you are above that limit then we will have to examine other options such as business migration). You have to have at least vocational English and atleast one year of work experience.
